Our Pillars of Service:
What We Are Building
Nature-Based & Agriscience Therapies
The Vision: Providing a restorative outdoor environment where heroes managing trauma, stress, or transition can regulate their nervous systems.
The Experience: Peer-assisted learning, therapeutic forest trail-clearing, sensory gardens, and mindfulness walks through the natural topography of Jackson County.
Current Focus: We are currently designing and clearing the physical paths, walking trails, and meditation spaces that will host these programs.
Respite Pathways
The Vision: A short and long-term path to independent living on our sanctuary grounds. Individuals move into their own private tiny home, taking ownership of their space while remaining a vital part of our supportive community.
The Experience: Residents live independently while actively participating in the sanctuary's mission. This includes maintaining their home, participating in community safety, and adhering to our shared premises agreement and wellness requirements.
Perfect for: Individuals ready for the peace of an independent home, balanced with the structure, responsibility, and support of a dedicated eco-community.
Learn Hands-On Sustainability
The Vision: A fully operational community center and learning hub dedicated to self-reliance and environmental stewardship.
The Experience: Workshops in permaculture, off-grid solar and water catchment systems, regenerative farming, and woodcraft.
Current Focus: This is where our current volunteers get their hands in the dirt today. By joining us, you are actively learning sustainable land management while helping us design & prepare the site.
Help Us Lay the Foundation
None of these vital services can exist without a solid foundation. When you volunteer with us today, you aren't just clearing brush—you are building the physical spaces where a veteran or first responder will eventually heal.
